isend® has a wide range of systems for different applications depending on the product to be controlled. They allow probes to be mounted on the actual production line for quality control by means of Eddy current units. There are different types of systems both for ferromagnetic materials with magnetizing, as well as without magnetizing for non-ferromagnetic materials.
A Rotating inspection system is the essential system for production lines where the longitudinal defects along the surface material of the product are the main concern. The system incorporates Eddy current probes, which revolve around the material at between 3,000 and 18,000 rpm, capable of detecting longitudinal defects of up to 0.05 mm with controlled lift-off.
Unit that magnetizes ferromagnetic material, leading it to the saturation zone, allowing a better inspection of the material and providing more sensitivity to the set of probes. The encircling magnetizing unit houses inside an encircling probe along with guide rods. It is available in different sizes depending on the diameter of the material.
Designed for inspection of welded pipes on the actual production line. The sectorial magnetizing unit magnetizes the part of the pipe that is to be controlled. It houses a sectorial probe inside. Easily adaptable for different pipe diameters and adjustable positioning of the probe on the pipe.
Encircling demagnetizing units allow the removal of the remnant magnetism as a result of the material’s passage in previous steps through other magnetizing units. It’s used for ferromagnetic materials in conjunction with encircling and sectorial magnetizing units.
Allows production line mounting of refrigerated encircling probes, protecting them from the vibrations of the material and helping to maintain the probe temperature due to its liquid cooling system.
Allows production line mounting of encircling probes, providing a robust and rugged housing for them. Generally used for the inspection of non-ferromagnetic materials or lines that do not require magnetizing of the material. Available in various sizes.
