The company "Ingeniería y Sistemas de Ensayos No Destructivos S.A." (isend®) <Engineering and Systems of Non-Destructive Testing> is a nationally funded company, located in the community of Castile and Leon, on the Boecillo Technology Park, in Valladolid.
It arose from the partnership of two types of promoter. On the one hand, technology developers, and on the other, business promoters. These two united and complementary areas, are the mainstay of both the company and of it the work force which gives it its structure and personality.
As reflected in its social objective, its main activity focuses on research, development, manufacturing and marketing of services and equipment for quality control in industrial processes, based on "Non-Destructive Testing"(NDT) techniques.
Isend was founded with the aim of opening a niche for itself in the demanding global market of product quality inspection, with the philosophy of "zero defects" in industrial manufacturing and continuous processes, basing its leadership on these two main strengths:
• Extensive experience and technological capacity of the business partners, well recognized in the industry.
• Profound knowledge of the specific market requirements.
One of the biggest challenges to face in order to compete successfully, is to base all systems, solutions and services offered on proprietary technology, which is up-to-date and constantly evolving, as well as being developed specifically to adjust to (and anticipate as far as possible), the requirements of different target industries and the technologies, techniques and methods available at all times.
To meet these challenges we have two principles:

Isend’s starting point and first goal involved the development of inspection equipment based on the theory of Eddy currents, enabling quality control techniques of non-destructive testing (NDT) for processes and products, both developed and semi-developed, in the industrial sector.
This system, developed entirely by isend is the technological foundation upon which it provides a full range of services and commercial industrial equipment, which can be used at critical points in the production lines of different sectors (metallurgic, petrochemical, aeronautic, automobile, etc.) for comprehensive quality control of processes and products.
The products to be developed are industrial units and complete installations, encompassing the techniques of Eddy current, ultrasonic, acoustic resonance, artificial vision and vibration analysis.
Product strategy
We cover the whole range of products on the market, from basic single or multi-channel units, mounted in industrial cabinets on production lines (FOCAnalyzer ® and FOCAnalyzer ® PRO), to portable inspection units (PORTAnalyzer ®) as well as basic 4 or 8 channel rotating units (ROTOdiscover ®) with conventional technology.
